About Unchanging Hands Community Outreach Center
Our History
Unchanging Hands Community Outreach Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Houston, Texas, is dedicated to uplifting teen moms, single mothers, low-income families, and children. Originally established in 2016 as a for-profit business serving the homeless, we transitioned to nonprofit status in 2023 to better support our community. Led by a diverse and women-focused team, we offer programs that empower families to overcome financial and educational barriers. Our unique focus on teen mothers addresses their specific challenges, providing tailored support as they navigate parenthood and pursue education and personal growth.
Our Team
Unchanging Hands Community Outreach Center was founded by women of diverse ethnic backgrounds who are all educators with master's degrees in community development and a Christian background, though we are inclusive of all religions. Our team consists of licensed therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals dedicated to supporting mental health and wellness in our community.
Our Partners
Unchanging Hands Community Outreach Center has established partnerships with local retail stores and fast food chains, including Raising Cane's, Walgreens, Sam's Club, Nike, and C&S Wholesale Grocers. Additionally, we collaborate with local school districts such as Aldine ISD, Klein ISD, and the teen mom programs at Highland Pre-school and Daycare. These partnerships support our meal program, teen mom program, community development initiatives, and parental classes, enabling us to better serve our community's needs.
